Service Overview

  • Written statement
  • 18-month duration
  • Based on an integrated, continuous improvement approach to RFID analysis and installation
  • Backed by Intermec, a leader in RFID implementation

Intermec’s RFIDeploySM 18-month Performance Guarantee helps take the risk out of implementing this new technology. When all three post-business case RFIDeploy services: Process Analysis, Site Analysis and Site Installation are performed or authorized by Intermec Global Services, the performance of the customer’s RFID technology system is guaranteed to meet or exceed the criteria for success as established during the implementation process, for 18 months after system go-live. Intermec can make this guarantee because of the attention to detail that our consultants and technicians apply to every nuance of RFID implementation. We don’t hand the system over until it works to or beyond customer expectations. The RFIDeploy Process Analysis, Site Analysis and Site Installation form a whole process, divided into three phases. Each phase provides either confirmation, or constructive feedback for change and adjustment for the recommendations or assumptions of the previous phase, until the system performs as specified.

RFID Performance Guarantee in Action

To illustrate how the RFIDeploySM 18-month Performance Guarantee is supported, think of a dynamic process, similar to a manufacturing flow, with three main steps or phases in the process: Process Analysis, Site Analysis and Site Installation. At each step or phase, the factory worker not only performs his particular job, but provides constructive feedback to the workers back up the line, until the system performs to, or beyond expectations. The success of the system is measured against the criteria agreed upon by the workers and the owner (the RFID system end-user) while the flow was evolving.
