Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) capability is included in select Intermec computers, namely the 76x and the CN3x. There are sure to be others, as the power and reach of WWAN data collection increases and end-user applications and end-users themselves benefit from the resulting improvements. Intermec offers Activation and Provisioning for enabling Intermec WWAN-capable devices, and WWAN Coverage Surveys to help users understand the character and quality of transmissions in their service areas or along their standard routes.
