Intermec’s Medallion On Site Service Contract plans are available at the "Platinum" and "Gold" commitment levels. The Platinum plan provides for a next-business-day onsite response schedule, and Gold offers a second-business-day response.Both the Platinum and the Gold versions of our plans ensure that critical data collection devices are repaired or replaced (at Intermec’s option), tested, and readied for operation as quickly as possible. The commitment clock starts from the business day the customer request is received, if it is received before 5PM, local time. Otherwise, the clock starts the next business day. Repairs are warranted for 90 days, and performed to exacting factory standards, using Intermec authorized parts and procedures. Where available, On Site Plans serve customer locations up to 150 miles (approximately 241km) from the nearest authorized Intermec field service office.

Investment Protection

With locked-in pricing Medallion Service Contracts offer insurance against unanticipated repair costs. Medallion standard coverage (coverage of defects, wear, and component failures), is the best in the industry.
