The Intermec PW40 thermal workboard printer is designed specifically to hold the new Intermec 700 Series Mobile Computer. Both durable and weather resistant, the PW40 can take the punishment of daily work environments and is easily incorporated into the field. In addition, its functional design makes paper loading simple because roll-type paper fits easily into place.Mobility and Power Supply
The rugged one-piece solution allows the user the convenience of a joined device, with a hand strap. Additionally, the user can charge both the printer and mobile computer with one charge source.A vehicle charger option ensures a long day’s work in the field. With a patented sleep mode for battery conservation, the PW40 automatically activates itself when it senses data input.
40- and 80-Column Format Options
The reliable four inch thermal printer mechanism on the PW40 offers exceptional print clarity with the versatility of printing text, graphics and logos. It can quickly print standard 40-column receipts, yet provides users with a 4-inch paper width capability to accommodate compressed 80-column formats. The PW40 easily handles 120 feet of thermal paper, reducing the frequency of changing paper rolls.Compatibility
The Intermec PW40 is fully compatible with the Intermec 6808, 681, 682 and 782 line of printers and is backed by a one-year warranty.
