Convenience of Bluetooth
When paired with an Intermec 700 Series mobile computer, the Intermec PB40 direct thermal mobile printer with Bluetooth, offers the convenience of a personal area network (PAN) for receipt printing to frontline workers. This combination is a no hassle, wireless printing solution for various route accounting, logistics, home delivery and pre-sales applications.
Mobile workers will no longer need to go back to the truck to print a ticket or wait for a ticket to print while selecting products to deliver with the Bluetooth equipped PB40. They can begin printing from 10 meters (30 feet) away.
The PB40 can be worn at the waist, carried or left behind in the truck for maximum efficiency. With a wireless connection to the handheld computer, the user can even wear a coat in harsh weather environments and still print a ticket.
Enhanced Firmware
Faster firmware enables the PB40 to print graphics and in particular, offers signature capture capability. With its exceptional print clarity (more than 200 dpi resolution) the PB40 is ideal for producing receipts, invoices, and proofs of delivery. Its graphics capabilities include downloadable fonts, IrDA, serial RS-232, and 4 MB fl ash memory for added performance.
Long-Lasting Design and Power Supply
Made from resilient high-density polyethylene, the PB40 can withstand even the most challenging applications. A reliable print mechanism and extended print duration time allow the PB40 to handle the printing requirements of a full-8 hour shift, even under tough conditions.
Lithium-ion batteries offer maximum power capacity for the PB40. Automatic power saving sleep mode and quick 3-hour recharging time, along with an optional vehicle charger, create the optimum application solution for a long service day.
40- and 80-Column Format Options
The PB40 allows users with a 4-inch paper width requirement to accommodate 40-column formats. In addition, the unit offers the ability to provide a compressed 80-column receipt, without the mobile worker having to carry the bulk of a larger 80-column printer.
